Most of Ontario is under an extreme cold warning as a blast of artic air delivers biting wind chills.
Environment Canada says it may really feel like between -30 C and -40 C throughout a lot of southern and japanese Ontario Friday morning, warning frostbite may rapidly develop on uncovered pores and skin.
While these wind chill values are anticipated to relent barely this afternoon, the climate company says they may return in some areas tonight and into Saturday morning.
Environment Canada is forecasting wind chills close to -30 C within the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area, whereas in Ottawa it may really feel nearer to -40 C.
In Thunder Bay it’s going to really feel extra like -45 C and the areas round Hudson Bay are forecasted to really feel wind chills round -50 C.
