An individual is in custody after an eight-year-old woman died following a hit and run outside Central Public School in Burlington, Ont., police stated.
According to Halton regional police, the woman had simply gotten out of her mother or father’s automotive round 5: 30 p.m. Wednesday and was crossing a driveway to enter the school’s east entrance when a white SUV struck her because it was exiting the parking zone.
“The SUV exited the lot with out stopping, and turned westbound on Baldwin Street,” stated a police information launch.
